AMA helped the Faculty of Applied Arts and the Apprenticeships programme at the Dublin Institute of Technology to define their space needs for their new Grangegorman campus and provide a Strategic Brief to the campus master-planners. The brief highlighted space savings through sharing and designing rooms with multi-functionality, so that the expectations and wishes of the two groups is now more in line with the original allocated space budget. The study consisted of a walkthrough, identifying all the facilities (including workshops and laboratories), interviews, a series of workshops with Heads of School and the development of a space budget calculator.
