Sophia leads the AMA WorkWare team, responsible for the management, analysis and interpretation of high level evidence-based data for clients across a wide range of sectors helping them to make strategic decisions on space requirements and efficiency.
She has recently worked on a number of Higher Education projects for University College London, London South Bank University, University of the Arts London. She has also worked for a number of public, private and not-for-profit sector projects including London Borough of Bexley, London Borough of Camden, Southwark Council, CABE (evaluation of Sure Start children’s centres), Ofcom, Morgan Stanley, WWF, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She has helped developed AMA toolkit WorkwareCONNECT to support briefing for knowledge transmission and improved interaction in the workplace, and has contributed to AMA Guide to Successful Interaction.
Prior to joining AMA, Sophia worked more than ten years undertaking project management and qualitative and quantitative research in the not-for-profit sector. Her work ranged from emergency and development project supervision and published research on human rights questions addressing key government policies and international legal instruments.
Sophia graduated in PPE (Sciences Po) and holds post-graduate qualifications in Geopolitics and Development Studies. After a first class BA (Hons.) in Architecture at London Metropolitan University in 2009, she completed her Professional Diploma (Part 2): Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies with a distinction at the Graduate School of Environment (Centre for Alternative Technology) in 2012. In 2008 she was also shortlisted for the RIBA dissertation prize.
